Step #1 — Go to Tokensoft Web App
If you were given a specific referral link or sale link, use that link to reach the platform. Otherwise, you can get to the Tokensoft web application by navigating to https://app.tokensoft.io in your web browser. The platform will look like this when you reach it:
Step #2 — Connect MetaMask Wallet
Click Connect Wallet or Connect in the upper right to connect your MetaMask wallet. Complete the interaction by signing via MetaMask.
❓ What is MetaMask? MetaMask is a crypto wallet browser extension (if this still doesn’t make sense, watch this). If you don’t have a MetaMask wallet, download and install it here and follow these setup instructions.
Step #3 — Navigate to "My Profile"
Click on "My Profile" to begin your KYC registration. Enter your email address and phone number and click save.
Step #4 — Verify email address
After clicking save in step 3, you will be sent a verification code via email. Please double check your spam or junk folder in case you have not received the verification email in your main inbox. Enter the verification code into the field and click verify.
Step #5 — Identity Verification
After verifying your email, click on "Identity Verification" and fill in all of the required fields to begin your KYC application.
Make sure you enter your name and DOB exactly as it is displayed on the ID you will be submitting for KYC review. This is very important to avoid delays or KYC failures. Double check the bottom right hand side of the application says "Complete" before scrolling down.
Scroll down and select the type of application you are submitting: Individual or Entity and click "Review". For this example, we'll follow the Individual application flow.
Verify your information is correct and click on "Submit".
Step #6 — Submit ID and Selfie for review
Once confirmed you will be prompted to submit your ID.
Select your document issuing country and then the type of accepted document you will submit.
Continue on your mobile phone to submit your ID photo or select next to upload a clear photo of your ID. DO NOT submit a scanned copy of your ID as this will cause delays or KYC failure.
Follow these ID photo guidelines to avoid delays in your KYC processing:
- Take your photo in a bright room (natural light is best vs artificial light)
- All corners of your ID are visible in the photo
- All data points are clear, visible and readable
- do not block or obstruct any info on your ID as this will cause delays
- There is no glare and little to no hologram obstructions coming through on your ID photo
Submit your selfie making sure your face is clear and fully visible as well as within the circular template.
Once submitted successfully you will get the following notification in your profile. Most applications are completed within 5 mins, others will need manual review which can take up to 72 hours to complete.
